Special issue policy
The journal welcomes proposals for special issues in areas within the scope of mathematics and computing science. Guest editors must have appropriate academic expertise and will be approved by the Editorial Board.
The Editor-in-Chief and the Editorial Board supervise all special issues and are responsible for the overall quality and integrity of the journal, including special issue publications.
Proposal requirements
A special issue proposal should include:
- Title of the special issue,
- Scope and objectives,
- Relevant keywords,
- Submission deadline,
- Information about guest editors (name, affiliation, email, research interests),
- A preliminary list of planned papers and contributors.
Peer review and responsibilities
All manuscripts submitted to a special issue must undergo the same double-blind peer-review process as regular submissions.
Guest editors must:
- Ensure the academic quality of submissions,
- Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts,
- Avoid conflicts of interest,
- Ensure that guest-editor papers do not exceed 25% of the total papers in the issue.
