Manuscript submission
The corresponding author submits the manuscript through the journal’s online submission system. Manuscripts submitted by email are not encouraged and will only be considered in exceptional cases.
Preliminary screening and plagiarism check
The editorial office first checks whether the manuscript fits the aims and scope of the journal and complies with the author guidelines.
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., iThenticate) to ensure originality and compliance with publication ethics. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s standards may be rejected at this stage.
Assignment to handling editor
If the manuscript passes the initial screening, a Section Editor will be assigned to manage the peer-review process. The Section Editor may reject the manuscript if it is outside the scope of the journal or does not meet the required academic quality.
Peer review
Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript. The reviewers provide comments and recommendations, which may include:
- Acceptance
- Minor revisions
- Major revisions
- Resubmission for review
- Rejection
Revision
Authors are required to revise the manuscript in response to the reviewers’ and editors’ comments. A point-by-point response to reviewers must be submitted together with the revised manuscript. All revisions should be clearly indicated.
Final decision
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the revised manuscript, and the Section Editor’s recommendation, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on acceptance or rejection. Accepted manuscripts will be copy-edited, typeset, and published online.
